Toys For Tots Ride October 16th, 2011

What a wonderful time we had raising money for the kids! $1300.00 cleared after feeding the crew and other expenditures.

Started with registration, also sold 50/50 tickets, had a silent auction fund raiser and give away at the beginning and end of the ride- also, drew cards to play 7 card stud!

Everyone was great pitching in with all they had!!!!

Before the ride left, we took a group picture of the riders.

The ride itself was totally awesome! Weather was great. Not too cold, but cool enough for the double riders to cuddle! Leaves had already begun to change color so it was a beautiful sight.

It was great of the Murphy Police Department to escort the riders to Andrews, made everyone feel special.

Talked to many riders and it seemed they liked riding together, it was a change after having the scavenger hunt in the prior years. This way everyone possibly could meet someone to ride with later, and they can familiarize their selves with the area.

Gave everyone a 4x6 pic with frame, so they would be ready to hang or set on a table when they arrived home.

Hot dogs, chips, pasta salad, and baked beans were provided at the end of the ride. Finished the prize drawings and everyone went home happy and full. It was a very memorable day.

Thank you everyone, for making the day so special for us and the kids.

Still have a little time if you want to donate toys or money for the kids in Cherokee County. You may do this at Rideable Customs or Murphy Xpress Lube. Both are drop off places.
